Circuit One

  • Crunches x 30 sec
  • Forward Lunges x 30 sec
  • Push-Up x 30 sec
  • Jumping Jacks x 30 sec

Rest 1 min

Circuit Two

  • Reverse Crunches x 30 sec
  • Reverse Lunges x 30 sec
  • Close Grip Push-up x 30 sec
  • Line Jumps x 30 sec

Rest 1 min

Repeat both circuits 4 times.

    How many days per week should I do the beginners workout and for how long a time period:two or three weeks or a month?I am very overweight and out of shape is why I ask.I am 6ft1 inches tall and weigh around 290.

    I am a college student and a beginner just starting to workout. I weigh about 300 lbs maybe more. I want to lose weight and gain muscle. I have dumbbells and use bodyweight but I dont see results. I have been these kind of exercises for months. I went and got a gym membership last year but went to the gym a couple times then got discouraged and quit. I don’t have a job right now to go shopping for nutrition stuff like supplements. I want to know how I can lose weight and eat healthy as well. Like I said I am a college student with no job. I love with a parent and siblings.

    Tried it, body aches feeling great… showed me just how way out of shape I was, did pathetic amount of reps at the 3rd especially the the 4th time… thanks will be doing this more starting this week!!

    i jus wanted to know that i am actually working out in the morning and then i have my breakfast how do i schedule my diet i mean the 2 high carb ones 🙂

    Hi Peter I’ve signed for 6 week challenge but one thing I’ve noticed is your workout plan is great but I’m 19 and and 27% body fat I know it’s a lot is this challenge still going to make me ripped if I do it or its just going to help? I know you’ve lost 100 pounds over 6 months but I’ve failed a lot that’s why I’m asking this question please give me a respond thanks and you’re awesome

    Ezel this challenge will help you lose your body fat, and remember if you aren’t where you want to be at the end of the 6 weeks just do it a second time around. It must become a lifestyle!

    Hi Peter,
    I am in the prep week day 5, and I have to say I am very motivated to get into real action by next week. I am following the diet plan and have no worries or issues cutting away fat, sugar, alcohol etc for the next 6 weeks or more, because I know it is, together with the exercises, going to give me the great opportunity to get the lean and fit body I have been looking for for so long.     Hi Peter. This is my 3rd time round on your 6weeksixpack challenge as I thoroughly enjoyed the last two challenges. Now that I am not as big as I used to be and am a lot fitter than I was before, I thought I’d reduce the recovery time from 1min to 30sec (I found 1min a bit too long). Is this okay or do you recommend that I stick to your instructions?
