One word to describe yourself?
How did you get into fitness/bodybuilding?
I’ve played rugby and always been active all of my life. After school played Club rugby, WP U/21 and WP sevens until injuries forced me to stop. Being a shy guy my brother convinced me in 2010 to prepare for my 1st Fitness show, MR & Miss Fitness .
The bug bit after that and I entered numerous different competitions after that show in which I did very well.I applied for a sponsorship from USN and after a few months Albe Geldenhuys (USN CEO) gave me the opportunity to be a sponsored athlete. I’ll always be grateful for that opportunity!
What has been your biggest accomplishment in the fitness field?
Being on the Cover of Fitness magazine.

Chest, Abs and Biceps
What is a typical daily routine for you?
5:30am – In gym , doing cardio
7:00am – Breakfast
7:30am – 4:30pm – Work
5pm – Prepare Food
6pm – Gym Weight training
8pm – Relaxing
What is your eating plan like?
This is a high carb, high protein balanced diet which will help to increase muscle size/endurance/strength. To supplement this diet I also have 3 servings of Salmon oil tablets throughout the day and i also drink 3L to 4L still Water every day!
What keeps you motivated to stay in shape?
Feeling good, healthy and refreshed everyday and being a USN sponsored athlete plays a big role in my motivation!
What is your workout plan like?
I train 6 days per week, twice a day.
I do cardio and abs every morning followed by a weight training workout that focuses on one body part later in the day.

What is the most challenging thing for you when it comes to staying in shape?
The diet… I really feel its important to find a balance between a strict diet and enjoying your food.Its takes a lot of discipline to eat clean on a regular basis!
Top 3 tips for people who want to get in shape?
1) Quality before quantity
2) Drink 3-4L water a day

What is the biggest myth you encounter every day in the fitness industry?
The lack of knowledge from people about diet & correct training . Some people think you can drink a weight loss product and then you will lose weight without training or eating correct……
