Intermittent Fasting (IF) is a way of eating that alternates between periods of fasting and your normal diet (non fasting).
During the fasting period, you are only allowed to consume water and black coffee or herbal teas depending on the method followed.
Absolutely NO Food is allowed over the fasting period.
Intermittent Fasting usually lasts for 24 hours and can be repeated once or twice per week.
You can also follow a 48 hour or alternate day fasting procedure where you fast every second day and eat normally on the other days.
