Think number 2 is better as you explain the movement as well. Maybe you can put something in as well about what is the best way of breathing while you do the exercise. Also it would be great if you can combine this with the ab-workouts to make sure that the people focus on the form and the breathing while they do the exercise… Have a great day all.

    Regards
    Ti

  2. Mateusz says:

The one with talking as its explaining the workout even more and the narrator is kinda motivating to keep pushing and doing the workout.

  3. peter says:

    Thanks for the feedback Ti!

  4. Chris C says:

    # 2 is great, I like to hear how things should be done properly and what muscle is being worked.

    Thanks for doing this!

  5. María Aranda says:

    Dear Peter,
Even this particular movement is very difficult for me because my knees paine, is much better to hear you explaining the bennefits of it. Thanks, love and hugs.

  6. A'isha Mahbub says:

Whatever you would do Peter will be excellent InshahAllah. I will like as you would present it, Al-Hamdulillah.

  7. peter says:

    Thanks everyone!

  8. Mike says:

I think the narration gives the video a more personal feel. I too think that outlining the correct breathing technique is needed (just to cover every aspect for the beginner).

  9. Carina says:

I like no. 2. Nice to hear the explenation…… Would love to hear comments about the breathing. Thanks for All the free advices. Smiles

  10. hamza says:

are you going to use the youtube video or this one above ???

  11. Eduardo says:

Videos Talked is always Best cause it keep us Focus on the Exercise and we can do it at the same time u talk.. so yeh go for Talking Videos

  12. peter says:

    What do you mean?

  13. pc says:

yes mutch beter whit you talking, your work is suberb.

  14. Lezelle says:

Nr2. Offers much more info on what your doing, why your doing it and how to do it correctly.

  15. Josh says:

    Hey Peter,
Sample one without talking is good for pros, who know what they are doing and work out regularly at gym. They can follow you without talking. But for a guy who is starting like me, Sample video 2 with talking is awesome, as I understand how to perform the excercise and also learn how I will benefit from it.
So great work and keep it up(the good work I mean, for all those dirty minds)!
    warmest regards,
    Josh

  16. Darlene Melkonian says:

Peter, I am a person who likes the verbal and the acting out. You are an awesome teacher!

  17. Luis E. Romero says:

HEY THE SAMPLE NUMBER 2 IS THE BEST BECAUSE ANYONE CAN UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ARE DOING ANY EXCERCISE BY HEARING YOUR EXPLANATION!

  18. R.P. says:

#2 is definitely better because an explanation of form is really necessary, especially for beginners. Oh, and thanks for doing this peter :)

  19. jim says:

2 is better. If someone does not like the voice, they can always hit the “mute” on the sound tab.

  20. Wolverene says:

Peter, I’ll take two. I’ve seen lots videos without talking. Sometimes you wonder to yourself what’s it all about. See, when you talk along with the exercises, it makes more sense. Besides your opinions about workout have all been great, I don’t see why we should have a no talking video. I have shown your sites to all of my friends around this planet and they absolutely think it’s second to none, because you take your time to talk about stuff to make more sense of them. It’s a no brainer really but it helps. People are more responsive to someone saying something about what he is doing rather than watching a mindless video without knowing what it is all about. Listening to someone speak has more retention than actually having to read everything on a video. Just my opinion. Cheers.

  21. Buddy says:

Hi peter, # 2 is great. so that we can understand better. cheers.

  22. peter says:

Thank you everyone! This is really helpful!

  23. diegog says:

I find the number 2 better, because can help people. I actually make this exercise a lot (from other series of videos that i like to complement) and i didnt know that you dont have to touch the knee to the floor. i thought that that made it harder and better. so. THANKS AGAIN PETER!!

  24. surendra says:

i like sample no.2,because it is easy to understand thanks peter for helping us

  25. steven myers says:

i;m with everyone else, number 2 is the way to go.

  26. Wolverene says:

Besides, I have another friend who is a professional trainer himself. Yet he finds your videos amazing, and said why didn’t I think of it that way. I think he was referring to that old link I showed to him about how to do the pushup right and the way to do the pull ups right. Those were 2 separate videos. I myself am not a beginner, but I enjoy listening to what others say and do their workouts to widen my knowledge. That is why some talking is really important.

  27. Gezza says:

Thanks for all your work and help. As an obese newbie to exercise, I prefer the second. You give good information regarding technique and reps. Keep the great work. I have had trouble downloading six-pack diet book. Any advice? Thanks.

  28. Wezkker says:

beside teaching us to build muscle, can pete teach us the ways to have great strength? i came to realise that huge muscle doesnt provide strength.

  29. ASSISH says:

    Number 2 better

  30. Daniel says:

    Definately WITH talking.
Stuff like “don’t let your knee touch the floor” can easily be missed without narration!

  31. peter says:

I will have a chat about this in a few weeks in my NO BS FITNESS CHAT!

  32. Ray says:

Number 2 with the narration helps with the demonstration to fully understand each exercise

  33. Shyan says:

Two is great, but the diagram on the left of the screen does not make it clear as to whether any muscles other than the quads are being worked in this exercise. I guess a side profile and/or a rear-view in addition to the front view could greatly enhance the diagram. You could probably shrink the pictures a little bit to make them all fit (as long as they’re not too small, of course). Also, is it necessary to follow any particular breathing pattern for your exercises? Or is that not necessary as long as you are breathing normally? The reason I ask is because you don’t seem to mention anything about breathing patterns in your videos.

  34. Richard says:

    Hello Peter.
No 2 is by far the best as not only do you get the action but you are talked through it as well.I am realy enjoying your other work out’s keep the videos coming please.Richard

  35. peter says:

Yip, you can do many things even have a 3D spinning image but it will all add to the time and I really want this out ASAP. So I decided to make the diagram JUST show the MAJOR muscle that is being worked and then talk about all the minor muscles. On the actual page on my website we will also have it all written out and will then talk about the minor muscles. The video will really just be one part of the info that you will get on each exercise and muscle group.

  36. edward says:

definitely #2.. i love the explanation picture bout which muscle we are training very much..gives more information rather than just doing the exercise without knowing which specific muscle we trained.. and the breathing information is very useful also..
I’ve been following your workout for 10 weeks now…and it’s very helpful to add as many information as possible how to do the exercise correctly….feels like having an own personal trainer..
    thank you so much, Peter!
    best regards..

  37. ahmed salem says:

try to make the video more details of do propely and do not affect the bones
try to make it also shows the diffculty of this exercise

thank you very much for your great effort u should be the best trainer in the world

  38. Venkat says:

    #2 is OK for all.

  39. Sam says:

  40. peter says:

We hope to have it online within 2 weeks after we finish the 6 week six pack this weekend.
